Installing your Hafele Altius FS 130 built-in hob is simple, but it’s important to follow the right steps to ensure safety, performance, and warranty coverage.

Before installation, please share the cut-out or cabinet dimensions (as mentioned in the product specification sheet) with your kitchen fabricator. This ensures a perfect fit for the hob within your countertop.

To maintain proper airflow and cooling, make sure the back of the cabinet remains open or that ventilation slits are provided. Adequate ventilation is essential — poor air circulation can lead to performance issues and may void your product warranty.

The hob also requires an electrical connection for the auto ignition system. Please arrange for a suitable power point as per the product manual, ideally placed behind or below the hob for easy access and a neat finish.

We strongly recommend that the installation be carried out by a Hafele-trained technician to guarantee safe operation and long-term reliability.
